Gatorfoam
More durable than foam and still provide a lightweight, easy to install interior letter application. Gatorfoam features a smooth rigid surface front & back for increased durability.Available thicknesses: 3/16", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2", 2"
Durability: Paper face more durable than foam, sides foam.
Interior or Exterior: Interior
Painted: Yes, also available unpainted. Depending on material availability at the time of your order, unpainted Gatorfoam letters could be provided in black, white or natural. If painting yourself, use water based paint only.
Sides painted: Yes
Face: Smoother than foam, not as smooth as acrylic or laminate.
Edge: Rough
Mounting: VHB* (very high bond tape). * When using VHB tape on letters 12” and up we recommend adding silicone adhesive to back side of letters for installation. For permanent installation we offer Studs with pads, available for letters 5” and up.
Notes: A high quality medium density polystyrene foam with paper face and back. Sides are exposed foam and should be painted after routing. Most popular letter foam for interior applications.
